3 Postdoctoral Research Positions (M/F/D)

SUBMISSIONS CLOSED

Our laboratory is interested in understanding the neural circuits underlying complex social behaviors, in health and disease, using rodents as an animal model system. We are offering 3 fully funded postdoctoral positions (m/f/d) at different stages of their academic career, to join forces in going deeper into the mechanisms of complex social behaviors in rodents. We are looking for candidates with strong expertise in quantitative approaches to behavior, electrophysiology, calcium imaging and optogenetics in behaving animals AND/OR data analysis and computational approaches to neural activity and behavior.

Duration – 4 years.

Team – The postdoctoral candidates will join the Neural Circuits of Social Behavior Lab, coordinated by Dr. Cristina Márquez, at the CNC-Center for Neuroscience and Cellular Biology, UC-Biotech, Cantanhede, Portugal, under the European project DYNABrain. Check our previous work and publications here.
