About

Overview

This workshop is an introduction to the hardware and software tools used in neuroscience research, focusing on how to integrate and synchronize devices for behavioural and neuronal experiments with sub-second precision. 

This workshop is designed for PhD students and early postdocs, but applications for other career status will be also considered.

No previous experience required.

Goals

  • Understand the principles of physical and electrical measurements;
  • Acquire basic knowledge on 3D design for behavioral prototyping;
  • Learn to acquire, process, and synchronize signals from multiple hardware sources;
  • Develop skills in real-time and non-real-time system integration using Arduino, HARP and Bonsai
